Dr. Kevin Deutsch feels blessed to continue the tradition of outstanding, caring providers at 8118. This is not a responsibility he takes lightly, and is committed to personal and professional growth to continually improve the patient experience, and provide the highest quality of comprehensive treatment all under one roof.
Dr. Deutsch grew up in Colorado, and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He then attended the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he graduated with high honors in 2007. While in school, Dr. Deutsch served as president of Pacific’s honor society, and as a representative to the American Dental Education Association.
After dental school, Dr. Deutsch served as a general dentist in the U.S. Navy where he was given the opportunity to work with specialists in a variety of fields. As part of his service, he spent two years on the aircraft carrier, USS Nimitz. Dr. Deutsch continued practice in San Antonio prior to joining 8118 Dental Professionals.
He completed a certification in IV sedation in 2013 to more comfortably serve patients in both every-day dentistry as well as surgical procedures.
He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in esthetic dentistry and understanding of occlusion (bite) and TMJ issues, namely through the Kois Center https://www.koiscenter.com/ in Seattle. This allows us to create smiles that are not only beautiful, but functional and long-lasting.
Dr Deutsch has a passion for implant dentistry, and providing for all of our patients’ needs in an environment in which they are comfortable and trust. He is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and continues to stay up to date on the most current modalities. His training has included a clinical residency program at the Malo Clinic http://maloclinics.com/en/education-1 in Lisbon, Portugal, where the All-On-Four treatment concept was developed.
In addition, Dr Kevin is a Platinum Provider for Invisalign, treating patients for over ten years and has successfully completed hundreds of cases.
